Course Description

This International Relations Theories (Basic) course is designed for first semester students, to introduce students to the theoretical foundations of International Relations studies through an understanding of several basic theories and methodologies, as well as the main issues and problems that arise in relations between countries.


Expected Learning Outcome

  1. Explain basic concepts in the study of International Relations
  2. Identify and critique the strengths and weaknesses of International Relations from various theoretical perspectives
  3. Analyze international events through various theoretical perspectives of International Relations
  4. Describe the formation of social units and structures within the international system
