Course Description

Conflict is an inseparable part of human social life. It should not be feared, avoided, covered up, ignored, suppressed, or eliminated. Instead, it must be confronted and managed in a way that prevents violence and can even be productive. The primary objective of this class is to introduce students to several principles, concepts, and basic skills for analyzing and transforming conflict.


Expected Learning Outcome

  1. Selecting and using appropriate tools to analyze social conflicts, both at the community and international levels
  2. Designing interventions to transform various social conflicts
  3. Developing leadership and exemplary conflict management within their communities
