As a rapidly developing field of study since the 1970s, International Political Economy (IPE) serves as a bridge between two other major fields of study in international relations: international politics and international economics. IPE developed when international economic issues, previously discussed as peripheral, began to dominate debates in international politics.
This course is designed to provide students with the skills to write scientifically, while adhering to the principles of good and correct writing. In this class, students will learn not only theory but also practical skills essential for academic writing and contributing to the broader discourse surrounding International Relations.
International relations theories shape the discipline of international relations. Knowledge production is dominated primarily by theoretical debate and disagreement rather than empirical study of phenomena, events, and issues.
