Of the various schools offered, I decided to conduct my semester-long student exchange program in Sciences Po, one of France’s most prestigious universities. Whilst the main campus is in Paris, there are several other campuses located throughout France, each of which having a particular specialization and focusing on a different region of the world. Considering the costs of living, as well as the International Affairs and Strategy Certificate that is unique to the Campus of Reims, I opted to study in the quaint city situated forty-five minutes away by train from Paris. Different from the other Sciences Po locations, the Campus of Reims offers certificates in four unique areas: International Affairs and Strategy, European Affairs, Economic and Business, and Journalism and Communication.
I highly recommend a semester abroad at Sciences Po Campus of Reims, especially if you are passionate about humanities, as there are many charitable events throughout the year. Additionally, if you prefer a more intimate academic life where it is possible to get to know everyone on campus, this campus is the right fit. I most enjoyed the historic city for its tranquility, but also for the fact that it is close to Paris, making it easy to commute on weekends. The highlight of my semester abroad, aside from being in one of the best universities for Political Sciences in the world, is a new insight, friends, and experiences I have gained. It was an experience of a lifetime that has no doubt, made me a better student and person.
